I still remember how, in my youth, we always dictated what fashion was and what to wear. Almost every year, there were changes, and I didn't want to look dated if I could.
If shirt collars were short one season, more extended the
next, or suddenly they had rounded corners. The trouser legs had to be narrow
or wide, the skirts mini, midi, or maxi. Of course, a color or a pattern was
also in fashion.
And hairstyles first! Yes, even the color of the nail polish was subject to a fashion dictate which,
of course, we were subject to, whether
it suited our type or not. Even today, the world of fashion tries to influence
us and encourage us to buy. But let's be honest: will you give up your favorite
blouse because women's magazines are currently advertising a completely
different style?
Looking at current fashion notebooks or affiliated websites - gray is
often mentioned as a trendy color this winter. Gray goes well and
goes with just about anything. So far, everything is fine. While some now write
that red is a must-have for winter 2014/2015 and that nothing works without a
bright red this season, others report on the captivating and understated pastel
hues dominating this winter. Last week I read on the cover of a magazine: "Green,
the fashionable color in fall and winter. I like the hint that this winter will
be colorful. And then! There is something for everyone; choose your mode!
The women are encouraged not only in the choice of color tones.
While young men are often geared towards their girlfriends and show
little individuality, today, mainly middle-aged women create their style and no
longer care what their neighbors or colleagues say. Thanks to opaque tights,
women over 50 also look great in shorter skirts; they confidently combine
bright patterns and colors. Either way, statement jewelry is generally more
suitable for older women than younger ones. The eye-catching rings, scarves,
and lush chains also distract from wrinkles.
Many women no longer want to commit to just one look. Classic today, sporty tomorrow,
and a little crazy the day after tomorrow ...
why not? Mature women know what is right for them, and that is why they often
look beautiful without having to look at fashion magazines first. They also
wear nail polish and makeup, appropriate to their type and outfit and not what
is currently in fashion. Take a look around you - you see a wide variety of tones
right now, a lot of well-dressed women in individual outfits. Dare to wear
trendy fashion: you decide it yourself because it is the one you love and in
which you feel comfortable!
